VOILÀ is a Catana 47 designed by Christophe Barreau: fast, stable, autonomous and made for offshore sailing.
VOILÀ combines daggerboards, a light performance-oriented structure and proper offshore systems with the living space of a 47-foot catamaran.
Unlike many cruising cats designed mainly around interior volume, the Catana concept keeps sailing at the centre of the experience. The result is a boat that feels alive under sail, covers distance efficiently and still gives everyone room to live comfortably.
Four double cabins and four bathrooms provide privacy, while the saloon, cockpit, trampolines and wide decks create generous shared spaces. The real luxury is having enough boat to travel far without losing the simple pleasure of being close to the sea.
VOILÀ was designed to live both outside and inside. The different spaces let a group be together without everyone having to do the same thing at the same time.

The central living space connects the galley, navigation area, cockpit and sea. It is where meals, route planning, work, music and bad-weather days naturally come together.
Four double cabins give couples, friends and families genuine private space. Each hull has its own circulation, storage and bathrooms, so a longer stay still feels comfortable.
The cockpit is the everyday social centre, while the two stern platforms make the sea part of the boat: easy boarding, swimming, snorkelling and getting into the tender or onto a board.
The Catana 47 is a performance cruising catamaran with daggerboards, a relatively light structure and a hull form intended for real passage-making.
For guests, that means the boat is not simply a floating villa moved by engines. When the wind works for us, sailing is part of the experience. The twin Volvo Penta D2-55 engines give redundancy and manoeuvring power when we need it.
About 1,500 W of solar, an 800 Ah lithium bank, a 120 L/h Aquabase watermaker, generator, Starlink and extensive navigation electronics allow VOILÀ to spend meaningful time away from marinas.
That autonomy matters because the best anchorage is often the one without a dock, a power cable or a shop next door.
Solar, lithium batteries, watermaker, generator backup and Starlink are there for one reason: to stay comfortable when the interesting place is far from shore power.
With 1,500 W of solar, an 800 Ah lithium house bank and a 120 L/h watermaker, VOILÀ is equipped for extended time at anchor. That means fewer compulsory marina stops and more freedom to choose an anchorage because it is beautiful, not because we need a plug or a tap.
